About

How We Start - Trusting Kids as Creators

I’ve seen even three-year-olds spin wild stories and act them out if you just let them. My way is simple: let kids lead the creative journey. I’m not here to correct them, just connect with them and help their ideas grow. It’s all about building real confidence through working together and figuring things out, not just memorising lines.

The Whole Journey - From Idea to Curtain Call

Everyone's got a spark. I help kids take theirs from a wild thought to a full youth stage production process. We break it down like this:

  • First, we riff on stories - fables, epics, even Harry Potter. Kids twist these tales and write their own scripts. Sometimes we do ‘Readers Theatre’ for early feedback.
  • Next up, we rehearse and build. Improvising, staging, trying out shadow puppetry and mask making - anything to bring their playwriting for kids to life.
  • Last, the big show. On a real stage, with lights and costumes, they perform for family and friends. Nerves flip to pure excitement on show day.

Programs - Something for Every Age

  • Little ones (2-4): We keep it playful with stories, drama, puppets.
  • Ages 4.5-8: Kids start adapting stories, making their own scenes, building small plays.
  • Ages 7-15: Older kids dive deep. They write original scripts, play many roles, and put on ambitious productions.

What Stays With Them

Kids walk away knowing teamwork, creative thinking, and real theatre-based confidence building. They learn to lead, listen, and imagine together.

Not a Solo Act

I’ve got a core team and sometimes we rope in artists for special drama workshops - shadow puppets, masks, improv - so every kid gets a full experience.

My Story

Parents ask me all sorts of things – ‘My kid’s too quiet’, ‘How can a toddler tell stories?’ I love those questions. I really believe every child’s got a wild imagination, a knack for pretending, and the guts to improvise. We don’t fuss over the stage. The real magic? Watching kids solve stuff together, argue, agree, and feel heard. I always say, connect, not correct. Trust your child’s journey. That’s when you see real personalities bloom – and yeah, they pick up big skills too.

My Work

Creative Drama, Storytelling & Playmaking Workshops - We run fun programs for ages 2 to 15 - Talespinners, Yarntellers, Storyweavers - from simple stories to full plays.

Fun First, No Pressure - Kids need joy, not stress. If they don’t vibe with an activity, we try something else till they find their spark.

More Than Acting - We build creators. Kids learn to write, direct, and really work together. Confidence grows from the whole process.

The Journey Matters - Making a play is the adventure. Kids learn by moving, playing, and we catch their best ideas when they’re just having fun.

Safe Space For Every Child - Shyness isn’t a label. We let kids break boundaries, explore, and find their voice at their own speed.
