Judo, BJJ & Grappling Classes in Gurugram
Master control and submission. My integrated grappling program blends Judo throws with BJJ ground dominance to forge your fight IQ on the mat.
The mat never lies. It shows who put in the work. This is a snapshot from a BJJ rolling session, where control and technique are paramount.
"The arm knows before the mind does." This is an Ude Gatame, or arm lock, in motion. I teach the mechanics of joint locks to give you an edge in any grappling situation.
From the squeeze of an anaconda choke to the snap of an armbar, flow is everything. This clip shows a chain of submissions in a no-gi jiu-jitsu roll.
This is a Sumi Gaeshi takedown in action. It's a perfect example of how falling back can be the most forward-moving thing you do in a fight, using an opponent's momentum against them.
Right leg, right timing. Game over. This is an Uchi-mata, an inner thigh throw from Judo, executed with precision. It's a high-impact takedown that I teach in my classes.
"The smallest step can break the biggest stance." A Kosoto Gari, or minor outer reap, being used in randori (Judo sparring). Simple, effective, and unstoppable when timed correctly.
"Grip it, rip it, flip it." Just another day on the mats, practicing sweeps and positional control in our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class.
Gravity is just an opinion when technique is absolute. Here, a student executes a Drop Seoi Nage, or dropping shoulder throw, a dynamic move from Judo.
The storm doesn't announce its arrival. A powerful Uchi Mata throw during a Judo session, demonstrating the art of effortless elevation.
Control precedes submission. This is a Kata Gatame, or head-and-arm choke. I teach my students to apply pressure patiently, because the tap is inevitable.
About The Ground Game: Judo, BJJ & Grappling
Sparring here is a conversation, not a brawl. In my grappling classes, we focus on technical flow, chaining submissions, and learning how to use an opponent’s momentum against them rather than trying to overpower them with pure strength.
Grappling is the great equalizer. Whether you are working on your Judo throws, refining your BJJ ground game, or learning how to control an opponent through wrestling, the focus is always on technique over brute force.
My program at Bodhi Ran in Sector 38, Gurugram, is built for people who want to understand the 'why' behind every move. We don't just show you how to execute an armbar or an Uchi-mata; we teach you how to set it up, how to maintain pressure, and how to stay calm when you are trapped.
We train in a functional, basement-style facility on professional EVA Tatami mats with padded cage walls. It is a high-sweat environment designed for serious work. My classes cover:
- Judo & Sambo: Takedowns, balance breaking, and sacrifice throws.
- BJJ & Grappling: Position before submission, passing guards, and defending against heavier opponents.
- Integrated Drills: Moving from a clinch to a takedown to a submission without pause.
Beginners often ask if they are 'fit enough' to start. My answer is always the same: you don't get fit to train, you train to get fit. We welcome all levels. If you are a complete beginner, we help you build a base from scratch. If you are a competitor, we put you through advanced sparring rounds to sharpen your game.
We operate on a simple principle of commitment. We have a strict no-refund policy, and we don't do long-term contracts. This keeps our community focused on showing up and putting in the work. You are paying for the access to the mats and the expertise of MFN-level coaches, not for a gym membership where you just walk on a treadmill. If you are ready to stop talking and start rolling, come see what the ground game is all about.
