As a black belt coach, I personally demonstrate and break down every technique. Here, I am guiding students through the nuances of grip, posture, and execution that make Judo so effective.

The O-goshi, or major hip throw, is one of the first and most important throws in Judo. We teach students how to perform this powerful technique safely and effectively, building a strong foundation for their grappling skills.

Footwork is the key to every successful throw. Our students practice a variety of footwork drills, both solo and with partners, to develop the speed, balance, and agility required for high level Judo.

About The Art of Judo

We run our sessions with 60 minutes of high-intensity focus, where you will learn the mechanics of throws like the O-goshi and footwork precision. It is not just about the physical technique; we emphasize safe falling, known as Ukemi, to ensure you build confidence while minimizing injury risks in our fully-matted Dojo.
