Kids' Martial Arts Training in Gurugram
Martial arts is not just about fighting. It is about building a foundation of discipline, focus, and resilience that stays with your child long after they leave the mat.

About The Next Generation: Kids' Martial Arts
Before a child throws a punch or learns a takedown, they learn how to fall. We start every session with Ukemi, or break-fall training, which is our non-negotiable safety standard. It removes the fear of contact and builds the body awareness kids need to move confidently, whether they are on the mat or playing in the park.
We do not believe in trophies handed out for participation. At our academy, medals are earned through sweat, listening, and repetition. Our kids' program for ages 8 and up focuses on Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), two arts that prioritize leverage and technique over brute force.
The Curriculum
We teach children that strength comes from discipline, not aggression.
- Judo Basics: We teach fundamental throws like O-Goshi and Tani Otoshi. This builds core strength and improves spatial awareness.
- BJJ Fundamentals: This teaches ground control and problem-solving. It requires a child to stay calm when they are physically dominated, which is a vital life skill.
- Conditioning: Classes include agility ladders and movement drills to improve motor skills and coordination.
Our Approach to Safety
Parents often ask if martial arts is rough for kids. It is demanding, but it is controlled. Every student learns how to protect themselves before they ever engage in live sparring. We maintain a professional, supervised environment where respect for the partner is the highest rule. If a student is not ready for live sparring, they focus on drills and technique until their foundation is solid.
This is not a daycare activity. We run a structured academy where kids learn the value of showing up, bowing to their coaches, and pushing past their own limits. We see nervous kids walk in on day one, and within months, they are executing clean takedowns with confidence. That shift in posture and mindset is what we are here for.
