Building a Jiu-Jitsu Culture of No Ego
We aren't just a training academy. We are a team built on loyalty, hard work, and the belief that you should train the way you actually fight.
We were happy to have pro MMA fighter Connor drop in for a roll. Our mats are open to anyone who wants to train hard and share knowledge.
Celebrating one of our young students, Almeer, on his yellow belt promotion. We recognize and reward consistent effort and progress at every level.
There are no easy days at Reign MMA. This is a look at our team after a tough session, tired but better for it.
We build ourselves through adversity. Here I am with a student, both of us on our own journeys but supporting each other in the process.
Congratulations to these students on earning their first stripe. It's the first step on a long but rewarding journey, and we celebrate it.
January 1st. While others are resting, our team shows up. This dedication is the first step towards achieving any great goal.
My intention is to create a new standard and a different culture for Jiu Jitsu in India. Looking at this team, I know we are getting there.
A group photo celebrating four years of Reign MMA. We have built a strong, dedicated community that I am proud to lead.
Cutting the cake for our 4th anniversary. We celebrate our milestones together as a team.
My thoughts on our four year anniversary. We are not just building a team, we are building a culture of weathering the storm and helping each other become the best we can be.
About Our Culture: Team, Growth & Community
When you walk onto our mats in HBR Layout, you won't see students mindlessly reciting moves from a manual. You will see us grinding through live, constrained games where everyone—from white belts to seasoned competitors—is focused on real problem-solving. We don't do 'easy days' here, and we don't carry ego. If you are looking for a place where loyalty and hard work actually mean something, come train with us.
We don't do politics. You will see from our team photos that we celebrate every stripe, every belt promotion, and every member—from Almeer getting his yellow belt to Jitendra and Long earning their blues. This is not just about trophies; it is about weathering the storm together.
Our environment is intentionally demanding. We do not use air conditioning because we believe in building mental toughness and physical endurance through heat acclimatization. When you train with us, you are in a room with people who show up on January 1st while everyone else is still in bed. That is the standard we set.
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to compete, you will find that the 'Ecological Approach' we use is not just for technique. It influences our entire culture. We force you to adapt, to communicate, and to solve problems under pressure alongside your teammates. If you are looking for a place where you can check your ego at the door, put in the work, and be part of a genuine community, you have found your spot.
