I turn your favorite photos into detailed, lifelike drawings. Each piece takes over 40 hours of focused work to get the shading and expression just right.

This is a completed commission piece, drawn with graphite and charcoal. I focus on capturing the fine details, from the expression to the intricate patterns of the saree, to create a portrait that feels truly alive.

My hyper-realistic portraits are a labor of love. A detailed outline can take over 6 hours, and the shading that brings the portrait to life requires more than 40 hours of focused work. I don't rush the process because quality is my priority.

A custom couple portrait is a beautiful way to capture your bond. I work from your favorite photo to create a hand-drawn keepsake that you can cherish forever. This piece was a commission for a client from Karnataka.

This detailed portrait of Lord Hanuman is an example of my spiritual artwork. I use various grades of graphite pencils to create depth and a powerful presence, paying close attention to the traditional details and expression.

Pets are family too. I also create realistic pet portraits, capturing the unique personality of your furry friends. This was a special commission piece featuring a client with her beloved cat.

The eyes are the soul of a portrait. This is a close-up look at my process for drawing a hyper-realistic eye, showing how I build layers of graphite to create depth, reflection, and emotion.

Watch as a couple's portrait comes together. From the initial sketch to the final shading, every step is done by hand to ensure a perfect likeness and capture the feeling of the moment.

A portrait can be more than just a face. This artistic piece of actress Priyanka Mohan shows how I can capture elegance and emotion from a different perspective, focusing on posture, hair, and the fine details of traditional wear.

Capturing the sparkle of jewelry and the softness of an expression is a challenge I enjoy. This portrait of actress Kalyani Priyadarshan showcases my technique for rendering intricate details in graphite.

A classic, hand-drawn portrait is a timeless gift for yourself or a loved one. This is a finished commission, showcasing the clean, realistic style I can achieve for your special photograph.

About Featured

For the best result, send me a clear, high-resolution photo. I use the grid method to map out proportions, and if your reference photo is blurry or low-quality, I cannot capture the tiny details like skin texture or the sparkle in the eyes. I need 40-45 hours to turn a photo into a realistic portrait, so please start with the clearest picture you have.

I treat every sketch like a piece of art, not just a drawing. I work exclusively with graphite and charcoal, building depth through layer upon layer of shading. My process starts with a 6-hour outline to get the proportions right, followed by 40+ hours of shading to create a hyper-realistic look.

Whether you want a portrait of a loved one, a pet, or a spiritual figure, I handle it with the same focus. I use 180-200 GSM acid-free cartridge paper for my A4 pieces to ensure they last a long time. Once the drawing is complete, I seal it with a matte fixative spray so the charcoal does not smudge.

I pack every portrait in a rigid, weather-sealed PVC tube to ensure it reaches you anywhere in India without any damage. If you have multiple photos of different people, I can merge them into a single, cohesive composition. Just send me a message with your reference photos, and we can discuss the best size and style for your portrait.

Hi, I am Vikash. I spend days with just my pencils, chasing the small details that make a face look alive. Art is a feeling, and I put that into every single sketch I make.
