Realistic Handmade Pencil Portraits
Har sketch sirf drawing nahi, ek emotion hota hai. See how I turn your favourite photos into detailed graphite and charcoal portraits.
This is my tribute to the talented actress Sara Arjun. I used graphite pencils to capture her graceful expression, focusing on the detailed shading in her hair and the emotion in her eyes. It shows how a black and white sketch can have its own unique magic.
For me, every sketch is an emotion. This A4 size couple portrait was a commission where I focused on capturing the quiet, happy moment between them. It's these feelings that I love to bring to life on paper.
This A3 size graphite pencil portrait was a special commission to capture a timeless moment between a couple. A handmade sketch like this makes for a deeply personal anniversary or birthday gift that will be cherished for years.
A smile can light up a portrait. For this A4 commission, I used fine graphite and charcoal to create a realistic sketch, paying close attention to the highlights and shadows to make her expression feel alive and joyful.
This A4 sketch was a commission where the goal was to capture a cool, confident look. I used charcoal for the deep black background to make the portrait pop and focused on the precise details of the hair and sunglasses.
This is the best part of my work. Watching a client unbox their sketch and seeing their happy reaction makes all the hours of detailed work completely worth it. "Exact copy!" is the highest compliment I can receive.
There's a special innocence in drawing children. This portrait of a little girl with her pet rabbit was about capturing that pure, gentle moment. It’s a memory that the family can now hold onto forever.
Art can be tiny but still hold a big emotion. This is a miniature family portrait of M.S. Dhoni, Sakshi, and Ziva, all drawn within a 2.5 cm space. It shows that even the smallest sketch can celebrate togetherness.
Here's a close look at how I bring eyes to life. I use a grid for accuracy and then build up layers of graphite to create depth and realism. For me, the eyes are the most important part of any portrait.
About Featured
Every sketch I make starts with the grid method to ensure perfect proportions. I then use high-grade graphite and charcoal to build layers, focusing on details like eye expressions and hair texture that make your photo truly yours. Whether it is a solo, couple, or family portrait, I make sure the final result is a piece of art that makes you smile the moment you open the package.
Why choose a handmade portrait? It is not just about the final image; it is about the effort and emotion that goes into every stroke. I specialize in realistic sketching, where I pay attention to the small things that matter, like the glint in an eye or the texture of a smile.
My process is straightforward and keeps you involved. Once you share a clear reference photo, we discuss the size and composition. For complex group portraits, I can even merge people from different photos into one cohesive sketch.
I work on high-quality 200 GSM paper to ensure the sketch lasts. Once the detailing is done, I apply an archival fixative spray to prevent smudging. Everything is then carefully packed in a heavy-duty, moisture-proof tube and shipped across India, so it reaches you ready to frame. Need a gift that hits different? Whether it is an anniversary, a birthday, or a special memory, these sketches are meant to be kept and cherished.
