I turn your favorite photos into detailed graphite and charcoal portraits, focusing on capturing the character and expression of every face.

This is the final version of a commissioned individual portrait, completed on A3 paper. The background is filled with my art supplies, showing the tools I use to create these detailed graphite sketches.

A finished portrait of a woman, drawn with graphite on paper. I focused on capturing her gentle smile and the detailed pattern on her clothing, creating a balanced and realistic piece.

This close up video shows the detailed work involved in a portrait. I use fine point pencils for intricate details like jewelry and a soft brush to blend the charcoal for smooth hair texture.

This video shows how a commission starts. A client sent me a photo via WhatsApp, and I turned their request into this finished A4 graphite sketch in just a few days.

Watch the process of drawing realistic eyes for a portrait of actress Mrunal Thakur. I start with a grid to get the placement right and then build up shading to bring them to life.

Here you can see my reference photo next to the finished sketch of the eyes. Capturing the likeness, especially in the eyes, is the most important part of creating a realistic portrait.

About Individual Portraits

I start with a grid method to ensure the facial structure is 95% accurate before I even touch the shading. I use professional-grade graphite and charcoal on 200-250 GSM acid-free paper, finishing every piece with a protective fixative spray so your portrait arrives smudge-free and ready to display.
