Engine Building: Agility & Endurance Training
We build the kind of stamina that wins fights. This is high-intensity conditioning designed to test your limits and sharpen your reaction time for anyone who wants to train like a fighter.
This is what a team conditioning session looks like. The entire class works through a grueling HIIT circuit. If one person drops, the whole team does burpees. We push each other to the limit.
Building speed and coordination. Our members work through agility ladder and hurdle drills to improve their footwork, speed, and reaction time.
Cardio is key. Here I am demonstrating proper jump rope technique, a fundamental exercise we use to build stamina and footwork for all our fighters.
We focus on mobility and functional movement. This video shows me teaching a class how to perform animal flow exercises to improve flexibility, strength, and body control.
Pushing the pace on the treadmill. My daughter watches on as I go through some high-intensity sprints, a core part of our cardio conditioning.
Dynamic warmups are crucial. Our class is seen here doing bear crawls and other movement drills to prepare their bodies for an intense training session.
Jump rope drills in our gym. I am skipping in front of the heavy bags, showcasing a simple but effective tool for building a fighter's endurance.
Training side by side. Here I am jump roping next to one of my students, pushing the pace together as a team.
More jump rope work. A simple, effective, and non negotiable part of our training to build the cardio base needed to be a fighter.
Cooling down and building core strength. After a tough session, the team is on the mat doing various floor exercises and stretches.
About Engine Building: Agility & Endurance
The rule is simple: if one person drops in our circuit, the whole team hits the deck for burpees. These HIIT sessions are not about counting reps; they are about building a gas tank that lasts through every round. You will be breathless and your legs will shake, but you will be doing it with a team that holds you accountable to every single set.
Building your 'engine' is the non-negotiable part of our training at Bodyforce Fight Club. Whether you are prepping for a competition or just want to get in the best shape of your life, you need more than just gym muscle; you need functional combat conditioning.
Our sessions focus on three pillars of endurance:
-
Explosive Agility: We use ladder drills, cones, and reaction training to ensure your feet move as fast as your mind. In a fight or a high-pressure situation, speed is your first defense.
-
Real-World Cardio: Forget mindless hours on a treadmill. We push you on Assault AirRunners, jump ropes, and shadow boxing rounds. This simulates the pacing of a real fight—short, intense bursts of output followed by technical recovery.
-
Team Accountability: We train in groups of 10-15. When the intensity spikes, the team dynamic keeps you in the game. We don't have space for ego, but we have plenty of space for people who are ready to work.
We operate out of Horamavu and Richards Town, welcoming everyone from absolute beginners to competitive athletes. If you want to train, you have to embrace the pain. The transformation comes after the sweat.
