Parkour, Flips & Tricking Training in HSR Layout
Master dynamic movement, from foundational parkour vaults to advanced tricking kicks. Train at our HSR facility with a focus on safety, progression, and real skill.
The 15.1 ft Warped Wall is a signature feature at our gym. This video shows different athletes conquering it, demonstrating the kind of specialized parkour and ninja warrior training we provide for film preparation.
Teaching the wall spin requires breaking it down into safe, manageable steps. Here, you can see how we use soft obstacles and hands-on coaching to help students understand the technique before attempting the full move.
Parkour is about efficient movement. This clip shows a variety of vaults, including the Kong vault and dive kong, which are essential skills for navigating obstacles in action sequences.
A throwback clip of me practicing a J-step gainer flip. Mastering these skills personally is crucial for me to be able to teach them effectively and safely to others.
This is what trust looks like. Performing an aerial cartwheel over my students is a fun way to demonstrate precision and control, core tenets of our training philosophy.
A compilation of tricking moves from 2018, including an aerial cartwheel and a 540 kick. These martial arts-based acrobatic skills add a flashy and dynamic element to fight scenes.
This is a perfect example of why a safe training environment is non-negotiable. A near-miss on a swing gainer is a learning moment, not an accident, thanks to proper spotting and soft landing mats.
A few flips with the incredible Simonster. Training with world-class athletes helps us stay sharp and bring the latest techniques in gymnastics and freerunning to our film choreography.
An aerial cartwheel and backflip session with the humble beast Sondre Berg. Exchanging skills with other movement experts is part of our commitment to being students for life.
About Parkour, Flips & Tricking
Flips and parkour aren't just for viral videos; they are about control. At Chaos Faktory, we don't just throw you into a backflip. We break every movement down into safe, progressive steps so you actually understand the mechanics of how your body lands, spins, and vaults. It is about building confidence, not just showing off skills.
Movement Mastery at the Faktory
Whether you are aiming for your first Kong vault or mastering a J-step gainer, the process is the same: technique first. We treat our studio at HSR Layout like a laboratory for movement. You get access to crash pads, foam pits, and professional harnesses, which means you can push your limits without the fear of injury. We believe that if you can't do it safely, you aren't doing it right.
Why This Training Works
- Progressive Learning: We don't skip steps. You build your foundation—balance, flexibility, and core strength—before we move to complex aerial maneuvers.
- Safety-First Environment: Our space is designed specifically for high-risk training, with mats and spotting techniques that allow you to fail safely and learn from every attempt.
- Real Movement Skills: We pull from calisthenics, gymnastics, and martial arts to create a well-rounded athlete. This isn't just about looking cool; it is about functional power.
Who Is This For?
People often ask if they are 'too old' or 'not athletic enough.' If you have the patience to follow the routine and the curiosity to learn how your body moves, you fit in. We train actors for film, but we also train regular folks who just want to move better and conquer obstacles like the Warped Wall. The goal isn't to be a superhero overnight; it is to get a little better, one session at a time.
