Action Choreography and Stunt Training Highlights
We turn movement into cinema. Here is a look at how we build stunts from the ground up at Chaos Faktory, blending raw athleticism with professional action design.
This is what it takes to prepare for a major film role. Here's a look at our process training the incredible Fahadh Faasil for 'Avesham', from fundamental conditioning and boxing drills to complex harness work for dynamic stunts at Chaos Faktory.
We had the privilege of training the powerhouse Duniya Vijay for his film 'Bheema'. This clip shows our team guiding him through harness-based aerial movements, a critical part of designing safe and impactful fight choreography.
Here is a short action sequence our team at CF Action Design choreographed and filmed. It demonstrates our style of creating realistic, hard-hitting stick fight choreography that is both visually compelling and grounded in authentic martial arts techniques.
Safety is everything. This video captures a "close call" moment during a swing gainer practice at Chaos Faktory. It shows how we create a secure environment with crash mats and spotters, allowing artists to push their limits and learn advanced flips without fear of injury.
With the phenomenal actor Fahadh Faasil and my brother and Action Director, Chethan D'souza. Together, as CF Action Design, we handle everything from initial actor training to on-set action execution.
Pictured here with my brother Chethan and the intense Garuda Ram from KGF. We've had the honor of collaborating with some of the biggest names in the industry, contributing to blockbuster action films.
The Warped Wall at Chaos Faktory is more than just an obstacle, it's a test of power, technique, and timing. We use specialized equipment like this to build the explosive strength and agility actors need for demanding parkour and stunt sequences.
I had a great conversation with Rapid Rashmi, breaking down what Calisthenics really is. It's not just about flashy moves, it's the foundation of bodyweight strength that we use to train actors for peak physical performance.
About Featured
It starts at Chaos Faktory in HSR Layout. We do not just teach actors to throw punches; we teach them how to land, handle harness work, and control their momentum under pressure. Whether it is wire work or reaction timing, we ensure the foundation is safe before the cameras roll.
Our approach to action design is simple: safety first, performance always. We believe that believable action comes from an actor who understands their own body, which is why our process starts with building fitness, flexibility, and spatial awareness.
Why Our Training Works
We have developed a system to get actors stunt-ready, even if they have zero martial arts experience. We use our facility in HSR Layout, equipped with crash pads, foam pits, and harnesses, to simulate film environments. This allows actors to learn techniques like cinematic combat, fall safety, and aerial rotations in a controlled setting. When an actor finally nails a movement, that ye aa gaya ye! moment is what we strive for.
From Script to Screen
My brother Chethan and I founded CF Action Design to bridge the gap between training and on-set execution. We have worked on over 70 films in seven languages, collaborating with actors like Fahadh Faasil and Duniya Vijay. Our service goes beyond just training; we handle the entire process, including:
- Pre-Visualization (Pre-Viz): We create fight flows and film them with our team to help directors visualize the sequence.
- On-Set Choreography: Chethan manages the actual shooting, ensuring the moves work for the camera angles.
- Intensive Modules: We run private coaching for actors needing to master specific skills, from stick fighting to wire-work, in short, high-intensity timeframes.
We don't sell gimmicks. We sell skills that translate to the screen. If you are a director looking for realistic fight sequences or an actor ready to perform your own stunts, we are ready to build that movement with you.
Delson Joy D'Souza
I am Delson D'Souza. I believe fitness is about movement, not just hitting the gym. My brother Chethan and I founded Chaos Faktory to train actors and design action that looks as real as it feels.
