About Tumbling & Acrobatics
Tumbling isn't just about throwing yourself into the air; it's about control and strength. We don't jump straight into advanced flips. We start with conditioning and safe progressions using wedge mats and springboards to build your muscle memory. You will be spotting the proper technique for back handsprings and walkovers in a fully padded environment, so you can push your limits without the fear of hitting the hard floor.
Many newcomers want to jump straight to the back handspring or a somersault. That is a quick way to get discouraged or injured. Instead, we use wall-assisted handstands, trampoline drills, and high-density vinyl crash mats to get your body used to the inverted position. Our coaches provide direct, hands-on spotting, ensuring you feel stable and secure before you attempt moves on the floor.
The Progression Path
- Foundation: Before you flip, you need to roll, cartwheel, and bridge. We build the core strength and flexibility required to protect your back and wrists.
- Drills: We use octagonal tumblers and wedge mats to help you get the rotation right for front and back flips.
- Apparatus: Our Banashankari facility is equipped with vaulting horses and trampettes specifically for practice, giving you the height needed to land safely.
Whether you are training for competitive gymnastics or just want to master a cool skill for personal fitness, the principles remain the same. It is about building confidence on the mat. You will find our atmosphere is high-energy, but the priority is always safety. We celebrate every successful rep, whether it is your first clean cartwheel or your fiftieth handspring. No ego, just progress.
