Real Barista Skills for Homebrewers and Pros
We skip the corporate jargon and focus on what matters: brewing a cup you would pay for again. Whether you are curious about manual brewing or want to master latte art, here is how we keep coffee simple and honest.
The only reason I do this is because *mujhe code na likhna pade*. I'm Aryaman, and I fell into coffee while prepping for my JEE mains. This video is a bit of my story, from being a machine learning engineer to finding my passion in manual brewing. It’s this real-world energy, not some corporate script, that I bring to every workshop.
This is what we work towards. A collection of lattes, each with its own design, poured during one of our workshops. We focus on the basics of milk steaming and pouring to help you create your own art, right on top of our custom Hindi flavor wheel.
This is a coffee cupping session in action. You'll learn to taste coffee like a pro, identifying different notes and characteristics. We use tools like the flavor wheel to put words to what you're tasting, making the process accessible and not just for snobs.
Coffee is for everyone, no matter your age. This video captures the energy of our workshops, where everyone gets involved. You'll see participants learning to brew, taste, and appreciate coffee in a hands-on, interactive setting.
This is our custom coffee flavor wheel, designed in Hindi. We created this to make coffee tasting more relatable and inclusive for everyone in India, connecting flavors to things we already know and understand. It's about breaking down barriers, not building them up.
We love to experiment with flavors. Here’s how we make a Sesame Jaggery Café Latte, a drink that combines nutty sesame, earthy jaggery, and bold espresso. It’s a taste of nostalgia and a great example of the creative recipes we explore.
Here I am, breaking down a concept for a group of students. My goal is to demystify coffee, cutting through the jargon to give you practical knowledge. It's a conversation, not a lecture.
We teach proven methods like the 1-cup V60 technique by James Hoffmann. This image shows the coffee bed after the bloom, a crucial step for even extraction. It's a structured yet forgiving method, perfect for starting your pour-over journey.
About Featured
We don’t believe in gatekeeping coffee science behind fancy terms. Our workshops are designed to get your hands dirty, from dialing in a perfect V60 pour to understanding how to steam milk for latte art without relying on a thermometer. You will learn the mechanics of extraction using equipment you can actually find at home, making coffee a skill you own, not a secret you are trying to decode.
Coffee Education, Without the Drama
Most people think running a cafe or becoming a pro barista is a romantic hill station dream. We tell it like it is: it is a business that requires discipline. That is why our training at Panchsheel Park, Delhi and Industrial Area, Chandigarh cuts straight to the point.
We break down the technical side of things—grind size, water temperature, and agitation—into plain language. Whether you are learning about manual brewing methods like the V60, Aeropress, or Syphon, or you are here for a Latte Art masterclass, you are getting time on real, commercial-grade equipment.
Why Our Approach is Different
- Inclusive Learning: We use our own custom Hindi Flavour Wheel to make coffee tasting relatable, connecting notes to Indian sweets like Jalebi and Barfi instead of foreign fruits you have never tasted.
- Hands-On Practice: You are not watching a lecture. You are brewing, tasting, and adjusting variables until the cup tastes right. We supply the beans, the gear, and the guidance.
- No Snobbery: Coffee is subjective. Our goal is to help you build confidence in your palate and your pouring technique, whether you are a home enthusiast or someone looking for a career in the coffee industry.
We focus on the pillars of coffee extraction and milk mechanics because that is what defines the quality in your mug. If you are ready to stop guessing and start understanding your brew, we are ready to help.
Barista Training Academy
I am Aryaman, and I traded corporate coding for coffee because I wanted to do work that feels real. Binny and I keep things simple at the academy—we focus on the stuff that actually makes a difference in your cup, without any of the pretense.
