About The Art of the Latte
You will be at our commercial machines, not just watching a demo. We focus on getting the 'wet paint' texture—that perfect micro-foam needed for a clean heart or tulip pour. It is messy, and you will likely waste some milk, but that is the only way to actually learn the physics behind the pour.
Latte art is often hyped up as some impossible magic, but it is really just milk chemistry and wrist control. In this session, we do not waste time on snobbish theories. We get you straight to the steam wand.
We work on commercial 2-group machines, which act very differently from home setups. You will learn to identify the 60-65°C 'sweet spot' by touch—no thermometers needed. We break down the whirlpool effect to ensure your foam has that silky, glossy finish that actually stays in the cup instead of dissolving instantly.
Whether you are a home brewer trying to get your coffee looking better or a budding barista wanting to pick up work abroad, we focus on repeatable techniques. You will practice pouring the classics: the Monk's Head, the Heart, and the Tulip. It takes practice, thoda patience chahiye (a little patience is needed), and a lot of milk. That is why we allocate 3-4 liters per person—so you can mess up, fix it, and finally get it right before you leave.

Hey, Binny here. My trainer Aryaman runs these sessions because he enjoys the craft, not because he wants to act like a professor. We keep things simple, real, and hands-on, focusing on what actually helps you pour a decent cup.
