About Our Workshops in Action
Forget watching videos or reading endless manuals. In these sessions, you are the one holding the V60 dripper and steaming the milk. We skip the industry jargon and focus on variables you can actually control at home, like grind size and water temperature, so your next cup is better than the one you had today.
We started Barista Training Academy because we saw a gap. People were romanticizing the idea of a cafe without understanding the craft or the business. Our workshops are designed to fix that. Whether you are a home enthusiast trying to nail an Aeropress recipe or someone seriously considering a career in the coffee industry, you will find our approach refreshingly practical.
What You Actually Do
- Manual Brewing: You will experiment with the V60, Aeropress, Syphon, and traditional Phin. We focus on the 'four pillars' of brewing—grind size, temperature, ratio, and agitation. You mess up, you adjust, and you brew again. That is how you learn.
- Latte Art: This is about muscle memory and understanding milk chemistry, not just trying to make a pretty heart. We use commercial machines and focus on texture, getting that 'wet paint' consistency that makes for professional-grade art.
- Sensory Training: We use our proprietary regional flavor wheel. We don't talk about blueberries unless you've actually tasted them here. We pair coffee with local sweets like Jalebi and Barfi to help you understand flavor compounds in a way that makes sense.
Our sessions are held in our dedicated academy spaces in Panchsheel Park, Delhi and Industrial Area, Chandigarh. We use unlimited specialty Arabica beans and professional equipment because you cannot learn to swim on dry land. If you are here to learn how to make coffee that people will pay for again, you are in the right place.
Barista Training Academy
I'm Binny, and this academy exists because I was tired of seeing people romanticize the coffee business. We teach the stuff that actually matters—how to brew a cup people will want to drink again, and how to handle machines without the drama.
