Our Riverside Sanctuary in Mysore
Escape the city and find stillness on our 18-acre organic farm. Set on the banks of the Kabini River, our ashram is a space to reconnect with nature, learn Ayurveda, and simply breathe.
The sunset paints the sky with warmth as evening settles over the ashram. These quiet moments of reflection by the river or among the trees are a cherished part of the daily rhythm here.

A calm, misty morning over the Kabini river. This is the peaceful atmosphere that greets you as you awaken, perfect for starting the day with meditation and gentle yoga.
The sun breaks through the morning mist in our forest. This magical light creates a serene and contemplative mood, ideal for forest bathing or a quiet walk before classes begin.
Rainbows are a frequent and beautiful sight at the ashram, especially during the monsoon season. They serve as a wonderful reminder of balance, harmony, and the beauty of the natural world.

A rare and beautiful sun halo seen from the ashram. We love how Mother Nature often surprises us with these spectacular displays, connecting us to the vastness of the universe.
About Our Riverside Sanctuary
We are a working ashram, not a luxury resort. You will be staying in eco-friendly brick cottages that rely on natural ventilation, not air conditioning. While you are here, you live by the river, eat from our organic farm, and follow a daily routine that is dictated by the sunrise and the soil.
Life by the Kabini River
Our ashram sits on 18 acres of land directly bordering the Kabini River. This isn't a manicured park; it is a living, breathing ecosystem. You will find yourself surrounded by a medicinal forest that we tend to daily, vegetable gardens that provide every meal you eat, and the wildlife that shares this space with us.
The Eco-Experience
We believe that real healing requires a break from modern comforts. That is why our cottages are built from bricks, designed for airflow rather than climate control. You will hear the crickets at night and the birds at dawn. This is intentional. We want you to feel the temperature changes and notice the rhythms of the day.
Why Our Guests Visit
People come here when they are tired of the noise. They come to learn about Ayurveda not just in a classroom, but by walking through our medicinal forest to identify the herbs we use in our treatments. Whether you are joining us for a 14-day foundation course or a retreat, you are expected to participate in the ashram life—sharing meals, helping in the garden, and observing the morning meditation. It is honest, simple, and meant for those who want to do the work of reconnecting with themselves.
AyurYoga Eco-Ashram
We are a team of practitioners who live here year-round, tending to the land and teaching the traditions we love. This ashram is our home, and we open our doors to anyone ready to slow down and listen to what their body actually needs.
