While you come to our ashram to learn, you stay for the family. Discover a supportive space where shared meals, bonfire nights, and daily rituals create a sense of home far from your daily routine.

A farewell bonfire for our recent yoga and Ayurveda guests. We love gathering together with music, laughter, and shared stories to celebrate the connections made during their stay.

Celebrating Diwali, the festival of lights, with our guests and staff. We believe in honoring cultural traditions and creating a joyful, inclusive atmosphere for everyone at the ashram.

We celebrated the holiday season with a delicious Christmas Eve feast and caroling. Sharing these special moments together is what makes our ashram feel like a home away from home.

A tribute to our beloved Dr. Ashwathy on her one-year anniversary with us. Her kindness, wisdom, and care have had a profound impact on our entire community, and we are so grateful for her.

About Life at the Ashram: Community & Connection

You might arrive here as a student, but our community naturally turns the shared experience into a lasting bond. We do not just teach and retreat; we gather around the fire in the evenings, celebrate festivals together, and share meals grown on our own farm. It is not forced networking; it is the natural result of living, learning, and breathing the same rhythm for a few weeks.

Life at the ashram is built on the belief that true healing happens in a supportive, like-minded environment. Because we limit our class sizes, you get to know the people sitting next to you during morning meditation or the ones sharing a table at lunch. It is a genuine 'home away from home' vibe, not a commercial hotel experience.

We mark the passage of time together. Whether it is a bonfire farewell for departing students, a Diwali celebration, or carol singing on Christmas Eve, we prioritize shared rituals. This is where the real transformation happens—not just in the yoga postures, but in the connections you make with people from across the globe who are all searching for a quieter, more grounded way of living.

Our 18-acre property by the Kabini River gives us plenty of space to breathe. You will find that after just a few days of eating our organic, farm-grown vegetarian food and disconnecting from your devices, conversations become deeper and laughter comes easier. Many of our guests stay in touch long after they return home, finding that the friends they made here became part of their wider support network for healthy living.

Ashram at JP Hundi, MysuruStarts from 99,000 per person

We are a group of folks living simply by the river in Mysore, tending to our organic farm and our medicinal forest. We are not a hotel, and we do not want to be one; we are a community of people learning to live a little closer to the earth.
