About First Birthday & Cake Smash Sessions
For outdoor sessions, I prefer capturing those golden hour smiles in Mumbai’s parks. I handle the props—like teepees, rugs, and rustic signage—but please bring extra towels and wet wipes for the post-cake cleanup, because these sessions get messy in the best way possible.
Why a Cake Smash?
It’s not just about the cake. It’s about catching that moment of pure discovery—the first time your little one dives hands-first into frosting, the confusion, the mess, and the inevitable smile. These milestones happen once, and my goal is to give you photos that feel like real memories, not stiff studio portraits.
The Setup
Whether you want a classic picnic vibe or something whimsical with wooden crates and teddy bears, I bring the props to you. We typically shoot in parks around the Mumbai suburbs like Borivali to make the most of natural sunlight. For those who want something quick, I also offer mini sessions focused solely on the cake smash or a fun bubble bath setup.
Practical Details
- The Mess: Yes, there will be cake everywhere. That’s the point. Please bring plenty of towels for the cleanup afterward.
- The Family: While the focus is on your baby, parents and siblings are always welcome to join for a few frames.
