Here is a close-up of my painting inspired by a hike in Partnachklamm, Germany. I used a combination of brushwork and a palette knife to capture the texture of the rocks and the movement of the water flowing through the gorge.
About this collection
I do not just copy a photograph. I work with your reference photos, whether it is a trekking spot in the Western Ghats or a mountain pass in Germany, and adjust the composition to make it work on canvas. If a tree blocks the view or the lighting is off, I edit it out so the final piece feels balanced and peaceful on your wall.
Creating a landscape painting is a collaborative process. We start by discussing the memory you want to freeze, maybe it is a sunrise from a recent trip or a quiet corner of your garden. I typically use mid-range heavy body acrylics on stretched cotton canvas. These paints are vibrant and, when layered correctly, capture the texture of rocks or the softness of water beautifully.
Before I send the painting out, I apply two coats of varnish. This adds a protective layer against dust and UV rays, ensuring your art stays fresh on your wall. Because I balance my engineering work with painting, I request a lead time of two to three weeks. This ensures enough time for the layers to dry properly and for the varnish to set. I ship across India, and each piece is bubble-wrapped and sandwiched between cardboard for safety. Every commission also contributes to the treatment of injured street animals, so your landscape has a heart to it.
