Hand-Painted Landscape & Scenery Art Commissions
I turn your favorite views—from cozy garden corners to cotton candy sunsets—into dreamy, hand-painted art. Let's bring that perfect scene to life for you.
A custom A5 skyscape painting I completed for an order. The dramatic blue and orange sunset over the city silhouette was so much fun to create using gouache.
A beautiful gouache painting of a haystack in a field under a dramatic sunset. The shadows and light in this piece create a really peaceful, rustic feeling.
A sketchbook spread featuring two serene nature scenes painted with gouache on black paper. One shows a garden fountain, and the other a wooden bridge over a lily pond, inspired by Monet.
The easiest way to paint a cotton candy sky. This video shows my technique for blending pink, purple, and orange gouache to create a dreamy sunset behind a ferris wheel.
My kind of therapy is painting a cozy scene like this. Watch me use acrylics to paint a charming window with flower pots on a piece of cardboard. It shows that you can make art on anything!
A process video of me painting a garden fountain on black sketchbook paper. Using gouache on a dark background really makes the colors of the foliage and water pop.
The finished gouache painting of a garden fountain surrounded by lush greenery. The black paper provides a great contrast that makes the scene feel like it's glowing.
This video shows me adding a second scene to my black paper sketchbook: a bridge over a lily pond. I love creating these little worlds side-by-side.
The completed two-page spread in my black sketchbook, featuring the fountain and the lily pond bridge. It feels like a walk through a peaceful, magical garden.
Another angle of me working on the lily pond painting. Uninterrupted art time with perfect lighting is what makes me a happy artist.
About Landscapes & Scenery
I paint these scenes using gouache and acrylics because they give such vibrant, punchy colours that really make a view glow. Whether you want a tiny 3x4 inch polaroid painting for your desk or a larger A5 piece for your wall, I work with high-quality 300 GSM paper or canvas boards to ensure the pigment stays crisp and the details really pop.
My Landscape Painting Process
Painting landscapes is honestly my therapy. There is something so peaceful about capturing a sunset, a garden fountain, or a mountain range on paper. When you commission a piece, I focus on capturing the 'vibe' of the location—not just a strict recreation, but the colours and light that make it special to you.
What You Get:
- Medium: I primarily use professional-grade gouache and acrylics. Gouache is amazing for that matte, opaque finish, while acrylics add texture and longevity.
- Surfaces: I love painting on different textures. We can do thick 300 GSM art paper, stretched mini-canvases, or even wooden slices if you want something unique.
- Customization: You can send me a reference photo or just a description of the scene you have in mind. If it’s a specific memory, like a childhood garden or a travel view, I'll work to include the details that matter most.
How It Works:
I share a rough pencil sketch with you before I start applying any paint. This ensures we are on the same page regarding the composition. Once you approve the sketch, I begin the painting process. Every piece is double-coated with a protective varnish, so your artwork stays safe from dust and fading. Whether you need a gift or a little piece of art to brighten up your own desk, I'd love to paint it for you.
