There is nothing quite like the warm, positive energy of being next to a cat. This painting captures a quiet moment with a black cat on a rainy evening, looking out from a balcony. It’s a piece from my collection that reflects the comfort and companionship our feline friends bring into our lives.

A little wave from a fluffy friend to start the year with a smile. This miniature painting of a baby panda on a small canvas was a joyful exercise in capturing cuteness and innocence. It’s a perfect example of a small, custom piece that can bring a lot of happiness to any space.

About Cherished Companions

Before I pick up the brush, we will start with a basic layout sketch to ensure we are on the same page. I use fine-grain canvas for these portraits specifically because it helps me capture the finer details in the eyes and fur texture. It is a 2-3 week process to ensure the layering and drying are perfect, and I finish every piece with a protective varnish so the memory stays vibrant for years.
