I bring the outdoors into your home. From the canopy of Cubbon Park to the snowy peaks of mountains, my landscape paintings capture the fleeting light and calm of nature on canvas.

Watch as the 'Mountain of the Gods' comes to life. This video shows the progression from a blank canvas to a finished landscape, highlighting the brushwork and layering techniques used to create depth and texture in the snowy peaks.

This 'Tree of Life' is the largest painting I've created so far, a special piece for our own living room wall. It took a couple of months to complete, with each leaf and branch carefully placed to create a sense of vibrant, enduring life.

Titled 'Bliss of Shade', this painting was created live in Cubbon Park. I wanted to capture that feeling of relief and tranquility when you step out of the harsh sun into the cool, dappled light under a canopy of trees.

A celebration of Bengaluru's spring, this painting 'Yellove' features the Golden Trumpet tree. The vibrant yellow flowers against a purple sky create a striking contrast, capturing the city's fleeting but magical transformation.

A short video showcasing the 'Tree of Life' painting in our home. It shows the scale of the artwork and the fine details of the foliage.

A close-up detail of the leaves on the 'Tree of Life', showing the pointillism-like technique used to create a full, lush canopy.

Here I am, painting 'Bliss of Shade' on a beautiful day in Cubbon Park. Plein air painting, or painting outdoors, offers a unique connection to the subject.

Another view of my outdoor painting session in the park. Finding the perfect spot with the right light and composition is the first step in creating a landscape painting.

Focused on capturing the intricate play of light and shadow through the trees.

About Landscapes & Nature's Beauty

I do not just paint landscapes from photos. For my Bliss of Shade series, I spent days at Cubbon Park painting on-site, catching the specific dappled light that falls through the trees in Bangalore's spring. If you have a specific view or a place that holds a memory for you, we can work together to bring that exact lighting and atmosphere onto your canvas.

Nature has a way of grounding us, and my goal with every landscape piece is to bring that sense of calm into your living space. Whether you are looking for a massive 3ft by 5ft mural for a living room wall or a smaller watercolor piece, I treat every commission as a story.

My Approach to Landscapes

  • Plein Air & On-Site: I find that painting outdoors, or plein air, allows me to see colours that a camera often misses. My series on Bangalore’s seasonal blooms, like the Golden Trumpet tree, was painted during local art camps. This helps me capture the actual atmosphere of the location.
  • Technical Details: I primarily use heavy body acrylic paints like Kokuyo Camlin on double-primed cotton duck canvas. This combination allows for rich texture and durability. For larger pieces, I use heavy-duty wooden stretcher bars to ensure the canvas does not warp over time.
  • Custom Commissions: Many of my clients come to me with a memory of a specific place. It might be a childhood home, a favourite trekking spot, or a holiday destination. I am happy to work from your photographs, but I prefer to discuss the 'vibe' you want. Do you want it to feel like a crisp winter morning or a warm summer sunset? That difference changes the palette I choose entirely.

Why Choose Hand-Painted Art?

In a world of mass-produced prints, a hand-painted landscape offers depth and texture that you simply cannot get from a machine. Every brushstroke represents a decision, and every layer of varnish protects the work for years. I am based in Bengaluru and ship across India, with secure crating for larger pieces to ensure they reach you exactly as they left my studio.
