Capturing spirits and liquids is a precise dance between light and glass. From the perfect splash to the amber glow of whisky, I craft images that bring your bottle's story to life.

Who knew pouring a drink could be so difficult at work? This top-down shot for Monarch Brandy was a concept I always wanted to execute, capturing the dynamic splash and rich color of the liquid from a unique perspective.

A wider angle of the top-down pour for Monarch Brandy, showing the complete setup with glassware and bar tools. This lifestyle approach helps place the product in a relatable, aspirational context.

The rich green background provides a beautiful contrast to the golden liquid in this pour shot for Monarch Brandy. Capturing the motion of the pour while keeping the bottle and glass perfectly lit is a delicate balance.

A human element adds a touch of warmth and action to a product shot. Here, we see the elegant bottle design of Monarch Brandy in use, making the image more engaging and dynamic for the campaign.

This is from a personal project where I experimented with capturing the unpredictable nature of liquids. You can plan the lighting and the angle, but the splash itself is always a magical surprise.

A close-up of a whisky pour from my personal experimental series. The focus here is purely on the texture and form of the liquid, freezing a split-second of motion to appreciate its organic shape.

This image for Johnnie Walker is all about creating a clean, high-key look. The focus was on capturing the lavish highlights and the mesmerizing orange-gold hues dancing through the glass against a pristine white backdrop.

From numerous sketches to a final, complex reality. This group shot for Pernod Ricard showcases their diverse portfolio on a custom-built, multi-level set, creating a powerful and colorful brand statement.

My personal favorite, The Glenlivet range for Pernod Ricard. We created a warm, rustic bar atmosphere to complement the aged character of these single malts, shooting each bottle to highlight its unique label and color.

The Chivas Regal lineup is iconic, and it was a pleasure to shoot their entire range. This shot captures the magnanimity of the brand, with the lighting carefully controlled to highlight the distinct details of each bottle.

About The Art of the Pour: Beverage & Bottle Campaigns

Shooting a bottle effectively requires more than just a lens. I use a technique called light sculpting, where I light the product piece by piece to control reflections and ensure the liquid looks like liquid gold. It turns a standard product shot into a high-end commercial asset that is ready for billboards or digital campaigns.

Working with glassware means fighting the environment. Every stray reflection on a bottle matters, and my studio setup is designed specifically to control this. I use high-end Hasselblad gear to ensure that every label detail, condensation droplet, and liquid hue is captured with absolute clarity.

My approach to beverage photography goes beyond standard pack shots. I look at the brand identity, the heritage of the spirit, and the vibe of the bar or environment. Whether it is a studio-controlled shoot or a complex lifestyle setup, I handle it with a crew of stylists and assistants who know how to make a splash look perfect.

I treat the pour as a critical moment. You can plan the lighting and the angle, but the liquid itself has a mind of its own. That unpredictability is where the magic happens. We often spend hours just to get that single frame where the liquid motion is balanced against the bottle's design.

Everything is shot for high-resolution output, meaning you get the texture of the glass and the richness of the liquid at a level that supports large-scale printing. If you have a brand vision, let us discuss how to build a series that makes your product pop.
