About Inside the Dojang: Our Training Methods
We keep our training practical. When you step onto our mats in Sangam Vihar, you aren't just learning kicks. We use focus mitts, kicking shields, and agility ladders to make sure every drill translates to real-world speed and coordination. Whether you're here to learn self-defense or train for your next belt test, the focus is on mastering the fundamentals so you can protect yourself and stay fit.
Building a Strong Foundation
We believe martial arts is more than just learning to fight. It starts with the basics. Our sessions prioritize physical conditioning, which includes agility ladder drills, high jumps, and core strength work to build stamina. This conditioning is the first step for every student, whether you are a beginner or preparing for a national championship.
Taekwondo Techniques and Sparring
Once you master the fundamentals of stances and footwork, we introduce technical training. We teach students how to execute precise punches and kicks, such as the front, roundhouse, and axe kicks using target practice paddles. For those looking to apply their skills, we conduct controlled, light-contact sparring sessions (Kyorugi). This helps students test their timing and distance in a safe, monitored environment using our communal chest guards and headgear.
Training Options for Every Need
We have designed our training modules to be flexible. We offer group classes at our Sangam Vihar academy where students benefit from the energy and support of the entire team. For those who need more personalized attention, we also provide 1-on-1 home training packages across Delhi/NCR. These private sessions are customized to your specific goals, such as weight loss, street-ready self-defense, or accelerating your belt progression.
