About Our Champions: A Legacy of Wins
A medal is just the final result, but the real win happens during those long training hours at our Sangam Vihar facility. When a student stands on that podium, it is not just their technique—it is the hundreds of kicks, the rigorous conditioning, and the constant support from their teammates that got them there.
Competing in championships is a major part of the journey at Asha Taekwondo Sports Academy, but it is not just about the trophy. We believe that stepping onto the mat in a high-pressure environment like the Delhi Olympic Games or the Open National Taekwondo Championship teaches a student more than just how to fight.
Why We Train for Competition
When our students prepare for events, we focus on three core areas:
- Technique Refinement: Sparring (Kyorugi) requires precision. We analyze every move, from the speed of a roundhouse kick to the timing of a defensive block.
- Mental Toughness: Winning and losing are both part of the game. We teach our students to handle both with grace and use every result as a lesson to improve.
- Physical Conditioning: You cannot win a match on skill alone. Our conditioning sessions focus on the stamina and core strength needed to stay active for all three rounds.
