My Journey: From Dentist to Artist

I traded my white coat for a paintbrush, and it changed everything. This is my story of leaving the clinical for the creative, and how I now help others find their own path through art.

I left dentistry for art, a choice that was soul-level honest. This path isn't always easy, but when I create, I feel alive. I'm not just following a path, I'm painting one, and I hope my story can inspire others to be brave in their own lives.

A close-up from a day I spent sharing my story with other business owners. It was a reminder that reinvention is powerful and that our unique journeys are what connect us.

Attending a business event, not as a doctor, but as an artist and entrepreneur. I've learned to embody my art and share my story with confidence, connecting with people from all walks of life.

I'm not chasing perfection, I'm chasing progress. This philosophy guides my art and my life. Every day is a new opportunity to learn, grow, and evolve.

A candid moment on a city balcony. My journey is about finding balance, embracing the process, and putting in the real work that no one sees.

A shot from the same day, jacket in hand. It represents the layers of my identity: artist, teacher, business owner, and a work in progress.

A happy, confident smile. Embracing my path has brought a sense of alignment and purpose that I am grateful for every day.

Another angle from my "chasing progress" series. It's a reminder to myself and others that the journey is long, but every step forward counts.

This series of photos captures my mindset: always evolving, one step at a time. It's the foundation of my personal and professional life.

About My Journey: From Dentist to Creator

When I left my dental clinic, I didn't just walk away from a job. I walked away from a script that wasn't mine. That is what I bring to every commission and retreat. I do not just teach technical skills. I help you figure out how to put your own messy, honest story onto canvas, because that is the only way to make art that actually feels like yours.

People often ask me if I regret leaving medicine. The answer is simple. There is a deep, soul-level honesty in creating art that I never found in a clinic. My transition was not about running away from a stable career, but about running toward a life where I could be real.

Why My Approach is Different

I believe art should be raw, imperfect, and deeply personal. Whether I am painting a mural for a home in Ahmedabad or guiding a group on an international art retreat, I focus on the process over the product. My work is not about creating a flawless gallery piece that stays perfect forever. It is about capturing a moment, an emotion, or a travel memory that feels true.

My Philosophy in Practice

  • For Commissions: I don't just ask what you want to hang on your wall. We talk about the space, the vibe, and the stories you want to tell. It is a collaboration, not a transaction.
  • For Workshops: I remove the pressure of being a 'good' artist. We get messy. We use unconventional materials. The goal is to untangle your mind, not to produce a masterpiece for social media.
  • For Retreasts: I curate these experiences for the traveler who wants to do more than sightsee. We sketch in cafes and paint in nature to create a visual diary that lasts longer than a photograph.

I am not just an artist. I am a student of my own journey, and I invite you to join me in that growth. If you are looking to start your own creative path or simply need art that has a bit of soul, let's connect.

I’m a former dentist who found my true voice at the end of a paintbrush. My work is simple—I help you untangle your mind and find creativity in the raw, imperfect, and beautiful parts of life.
