Special & Fan Art Projects: Hand-Drawn Realistic Portraits
From celebrity tributes and corporate commissions to deeply personal moments, I bring stories to life using charcoal and graphite. Each piece here is a passion project built on patience and detail.
A moment I'll never forget: presenting my 'Ghost' movie poster sketch to the legendary actor Shivarajkumar himself. His appreciation for the art was incredibly rewarding.
Another shot with Shivarajkumar and the 'Ghost' portrait. It's an honor to have my work recognized by the people who inspire it.

Unveiling the artwork for Shivarajkumar. This piece was a 49-hour effort, created entirely with charcoal on A1 size paper.

A proud moment for my client, a national powerlifter, holding her custom portrait. The piece combines two photos and incorporates the Indian flag, which I drew with colored pencils.
The finished composite portrait, celebrating her achievements on the winner's podium. This was a complex piece that blended graphite, charcoal, and colored pencil.
A work-in-progress shot showing the challenge of blending colored pencils for the flag with the graphite and charcoal of the portrait.
The finished piece in a handsome wooden frame, which complements the colors of the flag.
About Special & Fan Art Projects
Every project here started with a unique challenge, like finding the right technique to blend colored pencils for the Indian flag in a powerlifter's portrait or managing the scale of a corporate tribute piece. I spend between 40 to 75 hours on these commissions, ensuring every detail, from facial expressions to clothing textures, is captured using professional graphite and charcoal techniques.
My process is rarely fast because I care about the finish. For the 'Ghost' movie poster sketch featuring Shivarajkumar, it was a 49-hour commitment just to get the charcoal shading right. For the Quest Global corporate commission, it took 54 hours of focused work. I don't just trace photos. I work with 300gsm Ivory or Strathmore paper, using tools like Mono Zero erasers to pull out highlights in hair and eyes, building depth until the image feels real.
When you ask for a custom piece, we aren't just making a drawing. We are capturing a moment. I frequently handle complex composites, like restoring an old photo for a memorial piece or combining separate photos into one family scene. I handle the composition personally, ensuring the anatomy and lighting align.
I am based in Dasanapura, Bengaluru, but I ship worldwide. Your art arrives in secure, reinforced packaging to keep it safe. If you have an idea for a fan art tribute or a special gift, I am ready to put in the hours to get it right.
