Behind the Scenes at My Creative Studio
Step into my workspace in Dasanapura. This is where I spend my days turning your cherished photos into hand-drawn memories, pencil by pencil, with my little assistant Rio by my side.
A dream come true. My new workspace, with a wall covered in over 300 of my sketches. My furry assistant is enjoying the view from my drawing board.
Me and my little helper, Rio, in the new studio. This space is the result of years of passion and hard work.
A quiet moment in the studio. Being surrounded by my past work inspires me to keep pushing my creative limits.
Looking at the wall of art, I'm reminded of every story and every emotion I've had the privilege to draw.
Me and Rio taking a break in the studio. He's the best company a 'Kanasugara' (dreamer) could ask for.
A view of my art wall from my drawing desk. This is my perspective as I work on new creations.

My workspace decorated for the Ayudha Pooja. I'm grateful for my tools and the ability to create art every day.
A throwback to 2020, with a table full of my early sketches. It's amazing to see how far my art has come.
A more recent shot from 2023, with larger, more complex framed pieces. The journey of improvement never stops.
About My Creative Space
Every portrait starts right here at this drawing board. Whether I am working on a complex family composite or a delicate pet portrait, I keep my reference photos up on the wall to stay connected to your stories. It is quiet, focused, and exactly where I spend 8 to 75 hours per piece to ensure every shadow and detail is just right for you.
My Creative Process
People often ask how I manage the detail in my portraits. The secret is simply time and quiet. My studio in Dasanapura is where I disconnect from the noise and focus on the paper. You will see 300+ sketches on the walls here, not just for decoration, but as a reminder of the trust you have placed in my work.
Tools of the Trade
I rely on professional-grade tools like Staedtler pencils and Strathmore paper because the quality of the finish matters as much as the likeness. For a memorial portrait or a complex family composition, I often spend up to 75 hours layering charcoal and graphite to capture the right expression.
Working with Me
When you commission a piece, I treat it like my own memory. I do not rush. I take the time to study your source photos, understand the faces, and merge them if needed to create a single, cohesive moment. If you are local to Bangalore, you are welcome to visit the studio to see how the magic happens, or we can coordinate everything digitally.
Whether it is a tribute piece to honor a loved one or a surprise anniversary gift, everything I create in this room is about one thing, love towards art.
