It’s not just about winning; it’s about that specific moment when you’re in the cypher, the music drops, and you have to think on your feet. These battles are designed to push you out of your comfort zone, helping you translate the choreography you learn in class into pure, raw freestyle expression.
From Class to Cypher
At ARDS, we believe that dance is meant to be shared. You can practice in front of a mirror all day, but the cypher is where you actually find your voice. When we host events like Spectra and Foundry, it isn’t about intimidating each other. It’s about creating a space where the crowd, the DJ, and the dancers are all feeding off the same rhythm.

What to Expect
Whether it’s a 1v1 Hip-Hop face-off or a 2v2 Open Style jam, the goal is to leave everything on the floor. Don't worry if you aren't a pro yet. Many of our regulars started as absolute beginners who were terrified to step into the circle. Our studio in Indiranagar is a safe space to fail, learn, and try again until your movement feels like second nature.
