I take my studio energy to cities like Mumbai and Chennai, and I’m constantly jumping into cyphers to push my limits. Whether it is a workshop or a battle, the goal is always to grow and vibe with the community.

A clip from a recent hip-hop battle. After 5 years, I decided to get back into the cypher to challenge myself and explore a different side of my dancing.

A glimpse from my workshop in Chennai. This duet, filmed in a gym, shows the "Kadhal En Kaviye" choreography I taught to the amazing Chennai dancers.

A solo from my workshop in Mumbai at the famous Tangerine Arts Studio. It was amazing to connect with and teach the dancers in Bandra.

Another round from the hip-hop battle. This clip shows me facing off in the Top 8, pushing my limits and fighting my fears on the dance floor.

About Workshops Across Cities & Battle Jams

In these workshops and battles, I do not just focus on teaching a routine that you can post on social media. I spend the first part of every session breaking down the foundations, which is exactly how I prepare for my own battles. You get the same drills I use to keep my movement clean, so you walk away with actual technique, not just steps.

When I travel to host workshops in places like Mumbai or Chennai, I see the same thing I see in my Bangalore studio. There is a hunger to learn, but sometimes people get lost in just trying to memorize a 30-second reel routine.

My approach is different. Whether we are in a studio in Bandra or an open space in Chennai, we start with the basics. We look at weight distribution, musicality, and how to actually use your body to hit the beat.

Why I Compete

People ask why I still get down in battles after years of dancing. It is because that is where the growth happens. When you are in a cypher, you cannot hide behind pre-planned choreography. You have to react, listen to the music, and be present. I bring that same intensity to my workshops. I want my students to learn how to improvise, how to hold their own, and how to find their personal style.

What You Get Out Of It

  • Foundational Drills: We strip the movement back to the core so you understand how to move efficiently.
  • Battle Mentality: Learn how to think on your feet, rather than just copying moves.
  • Community Connection: These sessions are about meeting other dancers who are just as passionate as you are.

I am always looking for new spots to host sessions and new faces to dance with. If you are a studio owner or a dance collective looking to host a high-energy workshop, reach out. Let’s get to work.

I live for the floor, whether I am teaching a workshop or finding my flow in a cypher. My goal is to build a community where we share the struggle and the sweat together, because that is where the real connection happens.
