About The Battleground: Cyphers & Jams
Battles are the fastest way to grow, but they can be nerve-wracking. Whether you are dropping into our weekly cyphers at the Indiranagar studio or prepping for events like Spectra, you are learning to read the music and vibe with the room. It is about being real, handling the pressure, and earning your spot in the circle.
At ARDS India, we treat the cypher as the ultimate classroom for real-world growth. If you are coming from a beginner batch, the circle can feel intimidating, but our community is designed to break that wall. We maintain pro-grade AC4 wooden sprung flooring at our Indiranagar studio, which is crucial for knee safety when you are going hard on breaking or locking drills.
Beyond our own studio jams, our crew actively represents in the circuit, recently bringing home wins at the Red Bull Dance Your Style Weekender. Why does this matter for you? Because the same energy that wins competitions drives our internal training. We do not just teach choreography, we focus on helping you transition from learning steps to finding your own flow.
What to expect? You will find dancers at all levels, from those just learning their first steps to local pros exchanging styles. It is a space to test your stamina, refine your musicality, and get comfortable with freestyle. We run regular 1v1 and 2v2 jams, and even if you are not ready to battle, come watch. Witnessing the flow and the raw effort is the fastest way to understand what street dance is really about.

We are ARDS India, a bunch of dance enthusiasts in Indiranagar who think of dance as a language rather than just steps. We started this to give everyone, from total newbies to seasoned pros, a stage to show what they are made of. Come through for the vibes, stay for the family.
