You will notice our classes focus on the roots and culture behind the moves, not just the choreography. Whether you are working on your Afrohouse steps or Dancehall grooves, we film short clips at the end of every session so you can track your progress and actually see your own growth in real time.
At ARDS India, we believe that if you can walk, you can dance. Our studio in Indiranagar isn't just about learning steps; it is about immersing yourself in the music. Our Afro, Dancehall, and House sessions are designed to break down complex rhythms into achievable moves, regardless of your skill level.
We train on professional, climate-controlled laminate wooden flooring, which is essential for absorbing impact and keeping your knees happy while you are hitting those heavy House steps or fast-paced Afro rhythms. We keep the groups small enough that the instructors can actually see you and give you feedback, rather than just showing you the moves from the front.
It is not a drill, it is a conversation with the music. We emphasize the history and the feeling behind the styles, so you understand why you are moving the way you are. At the end of every month, we often look back at the choreography we built, and the energy in the room during those sessions is something you have to experience to understand.
