About The ARK Philosophy & Team

Since 1988, ARK has been built on the simple, yet radical idea of liberating spaces. Architecture is not just about the structure itself. We treat every project as a conversation, ensuring that the design serves the actual needs of the residents rather than just aesthetics.
Our approach is rooted in three principles: Authenticity, Ambition, and Attention to Detail. Whether we are planning a high-rise in Mumbai or a smart city ecosystem in GIFT City, the process remains the same. We focus on integrating indoor and outdoor environments, reducing barriers, and planning for flexibility so that a building can evolve as the city does.
Mentorship is at the heart of our studio. By bringing in young, globally-trained architects like Salar, we marry 37 years of experience with fresh, technology-driven perspectives. This blend ensures our designs are as relevant for the future as they are for today.
Beyond the drawing board, we believe in shaping the broader industry. Through initiatives like Gujarat Vriddhi, we facilitate dialogues between planners, developers, and local stakeholders to push for better development practices. We do not just build. We participate in the progress of the communities we design for.
