Custom South Indian Heritage Wedding Wear in Bengaluru
We blend traditional Kanchi silk and heritage weaves with modern silhouettes to create authentic wedding attire for the contemporary South Indian groom.
This is a complete look I designed for a South Indian groom. It features a layered, embroidered sherwani in a subtle off-white, paired with a traditional silk dhoti and shawl (angavastram) for a regal and authentic appearance.
A closer look at the details on the off-white sherwani. You can see the delicate embroidery on the sleeves and body, along with the traditional checked pattern of the dhoti, all crafted from fine silk.
This runway look showcases a traditional South Indian outfit with a designer touch. The off-white and gold embroidered top is paired with a silk dhoti, demonstrating how heritage styles can be presented in a high-fashion context.
This seated pose highlights the beautiful drape of the silk dhoti and the intricate embroidery on the sleeve of the sherwani. Every element is designed for both aesthetic appeal and comfort.
Another angle of the traditional groom's attire, showing how the shawl is draped. I pay close attention to every component to ensure the final look is authentic, comfortable, and elegant.
A portrait from my fashion week showcase. This outfit is based on traditional South Indian menswear, featuring a silk off-white and gold embroidered top that reflects a deep appreciation for our textile heritage.

About this collection
When working with heritage silks, the structure is everything. We use reinforced fusing and cotton-satin lining to ensure your sherwani or silk kurta holds its shape perfectly throughout long ceremony hours, and we include 2-3 dedicated fitting sessions to adjust the drape of your dhoti and the fit of your jacket.
Our approach to South Indian heritage wear is about honoring the roots while refining the fit for a modern ceremony. Whether you are looking for a classic silk dhoti and kurta set or a heavily embroidered sherwani, we prioritize textile authenticity. We source heavy-weight Art Silk and Pure Silk for our dhotis and kurtas, ensuring they provide that stiff, royal fall required for a traditional look.
Every ensemble is built to be worn, not just displayed. We reinforce garments with high-quality fusing, meaning your structured bandhgala or sherwani will not sag after hours of wedding rituals. For the dhoti styling, we offer both pre-stitched and unstitched options, ensuring you get the authentic look with the comfort you need.
Our customisation process is thorough. If you have specific wedding motifs in mind, such as temple borders, paisleys, or peacocks, we incorporate them through Zardosi, Aari, or thread work on the collar, cuffs, and placket. For grooms, we recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance to accommodate our 2-3 fitting sessions, which are crucial for getting the dhoti length and shoulder drape perfect.
We also cater to families, creating coordinated looks that complement the bride's attire without overpowering the theme. Whether it is a minimalist gold-bordered silk set for a temple wedding or a rich, embroidered ensemble for a grand reception in Bangalore, we ensure every thread reflects the quality of heritage textiles.
