Classic Wedding Sherwanis for the Modern Groom

About Classic Wedding Sherwanis
My sherwanis are built with heavy canvas fusing and soft satin lining, which gives you that sharp, regal silhouette without feeling stiff or uncomfortable during long rituals. Because I make these from scratch, we conduct two mandatory fittings—a muslin trial to nail the drape and then the final fit—ensuring you walk away with an outfit that feels like it was truly made for your body.
I believe the groom’s attire deserves as much attention as the bride’s. When you visit my studio in Sadashivnagar, we don’t just pick a design; we start with a conversation. I work with premium Raw Silk and Matka Silk blends, specifically choosing fabrics that hold a classic cream or ivory palette beautifully. My passion is the hand-embroidery—whether it is Zardosi, French Knot, or Aari work—done carefully on the collar, cuffs, and front placket.
Comfort is non-negotiable for me. Many grooms worry about feeling trapped in heavy traditional wear, but that is where the construction comes in. I use high-quality canvas and butter crepe lining so the fabric breathes while maintaining its shape throughout your ceremony.
If you are planning a traditional South Indian wedding, I design custom dhotis with gold zari borders to complete the ensemble. I am also big on coordination. If your partner has already picked their outfit, bring us some swatches or photos. I will ensure your embroidery motifs, thread colors, and fabric tones align perfectly, so you look like a pair in every single frame. My production timeline usually runs about 15 to 20 days, which gives us plenty of time to get every detail right.
