A model walks the runway at Bangalore Times Fashion Week in one of my creations. This light pink sherwani is fully embroidered with a multi-color pattern, showcasing my commitment to detailed, artistic craftsmanship.
This Indo-Western outfit was part of my runway collection. It features a long, embroidered overcoat worn over a simple light pink kurta and pants, presenting a modern and sophisticated look for special events.
I presented this traditional South Indian groom's outfit on the runway to celebrate our heritage. The look consists of an off-white embroidered sherwani paired with a classic silk dhoti, styled for a modern audience.
A full view of the layered Indo-Western look on the runway. The fluid movement of the kurta contrasts with the structure of the overcoat, creating a dynamic and fashionable silhouette.

This runway shot captures the elegance of traditional South Indian attire. The off-white and gold combination is timeless, and I've styled it here to emphasize its regal and sophisticated nature.

About this collection
You will notice the structure in these pieces. I use heavy-weight art or pure silks reinforced with fusing to ensure the silhouette stays sharp, whether you are wearing a layered Indo-Western jacket or a classic sherwani. These runway pieces are built to hold their shape through long wedding ceremonies, not just for the camera.
This runway collection is my way of blending deep South Indian roots with the demands of a modern wedding. When I design these pieces, I focus on the balance between tradition and comfort. For example, my layered Indo-Western jackets use premium Matka silk, which provides a rich texture while remaining breathable for long sangeet nights.
The traditional sherwanis shown here use heavy-weight art or pure silks with intricate Zari borders. I prefer these fabrics because they provide a royal fall that synthetic materials cannot match. Every piece, from the embroidered lapels on my bandhgalas to the structured shoulders of my prince coats, goes through 2-3 rounds of fittings at my Sanjayanagara studio to ensure the fit is precise.
If you are planning an engagement or reception, these runway designs offer a strong starting point. Whether you want a sharp tuxedo with hand-embroidered shawl lapels or a silk dhoti-kurta that honors your heritage, we can adjust the color palettes and motifs to suit your wedding theme. Feel free to bring your ideas to the studio, and we can discuss how to adapt these runway looks into an outfit that fits your style and comfort.
