Discover a collection where heritage textiles like Paitani silk meet contemporary tailoring. Each piece is hand-crafted to balance traditional grandeur with a sharp, modern silhouette.

This groom is wearing a custom sherwani I made from Paitani silk. The design features a distinctive woven border and subtle embroidery, showcasing a blend of traditional textile art with a modern silhouette.

A close-up view of a groom's wedding attire. This sherwani features dense, intricate embroidery in white and gold thread, creating a rich texture. I paired it with a traditional pearl necklace to complete the royal look.

This is a full view of the Paitani silk sherwani in a unique lavender shade. The fit is tailored to be sharp and flattering, while the traditional border adds a touch of heritage and color.

This groom is pictured in a custom off-white sherwani with elaborate gold and white embroidery. The outfit is paired with a silk dhoti, creating a classic and sophisticated look suitable for a wedding ceremony.

This fully embroidered sherwani was a key piece in my runway collection. The design uses multiple thread colors to create a detailed pattern across the entire garment, offering a fresh take on classic groomswear.

Another view of the light pink embroidered sherwani from the fashion week runway. You can see how it is styled with simple white trousers to keep the focus on the jacket's detailed craftsmanship.

About this collection

Because I personally oversee the construction of every sherwani, I insist on at least two rounds of fittings. This ensures that the structured fusing and shoulder drape sit perfectly on your frame, creating a sharp silhouette that lasts throughout the ceremony.

My approach to menswear is centered on the idea that an outfit should be a wearable memory. I primarily work with high-quality materials like heavy-weight Paitani silk, which provides a stiff, royal fall that holds embroidery exceptionally well. For those who want to honor their South Indian roots, I often incorporate traditional motifs—like peacocks and temple borders—into the sherwani or dhoti ensemble, using Zardosi or Aari work to add depth.

For more contemporary occasions, I experiment with different constructions. We can move away from the traditional heavy sherwani towards a structured Prince Coat or a modern Bandhgala. These pieces use rigid fusing to maintain a crisp, formal shape, making them ideal for receptions or engagement parties. I also enjoy blending palettes; moving from classic off-white and gold to unexpected tones like lavender or pastel shades can completely change the energy of the look.

Every piece begins with a conversation about your style preferences and the venue. Whether you are looking for a classic silk dhoti kurta or a modern tuxedo with embroidered lapels, my goal is to create a garment that feels like you. Since each item is bespoke, I recommend starting this process early to allow sufficient time for fabric selection, embroidery, and the necessary fitting rounds to get the proportions exactly right.
