Mother & Daughter Twinning Outfits

Why wear store-bought matching sets when you can turn your favourite sarees into something special? I design coordinated lehengas, gowns, and langa vonis for you and your little one, making sure you both look grand for any festival or wedding.

How adorable is this mother-daughter duo? I had so much fun designing these matching Paithani lehengas for them, creating a special memory they can cherish forever.

For a modern twinning look, we created these beautiful matching satin ball gowns. The rich maroon color and elegant design made them the center of attention.

A mother and daughter twirl in their matching purple and pink half sarees. It's moments like these that make my work so special.

This little one is striking a pose in her custom-made langa voni, perfectly matching her mother's outfit.

The beautiful mother in her custom-designed pink half saree, coordinated perfectly with her daughter's outfit for a family function.

Three generations of grace. We designed coordinated outfits for this lovely family, blending traditional sarees and lehengas in shades of pink and green.

About this collection

The biggest challenge with mother-daughter sets isn't just the sewing, it's the fabric layout. If you have a 6-meter saree, we need to plan the cuts carefully to ensure the adult lehenga has enough flair while the child’s langa voni or frock is equally detailed. I always prefer to see your saree first before we finalize a design, just so we can be sure the border and motif placement will look beautiful on both of you.

Designing Your Twinning Outfits

When we sit down to chat, the first thing we look at is your saree. Many clients come to me with a saree they want to repurpose—maybe it's a silk that’s been in the family, or just something you love but rarely wear. We don't believe in wasting fabric, so we plan the cutting for the adult lehenga and the child’s outfit simultaneously to maximize the usage of those beautiful borders and pallu work.

Why Hand-Stitched Matters

I don't do mass production. Everything here is slow fashion, which means we pay attention to the little things that actually matter for comfort. For children, especially, we use soft cotton linings so those zari borders don't itch. For adults, we focus on the fit—padding, structural fusing, and cancan that gives you that grand, voluminous look without being uncomfortable.

What We Can Create

  • Saree to Langa Voni: A classic choice for festivals, perfect for matching traditional sets.
  • Indo-Western Gowns: For when you want to look modern but still match.
  • Custom Lehengas: Whether it’s for a muhurtham or a photoshoot, we can adapt the blouse designs to include hand embroidery like aari or zardozi, ensuring the outfits look like a pair.

Since I run the studio myself, we keep the process very transparent. We sketch, we discuss fabric choices, and you are part of the journey from the first cut to the final fitting. If you have a specific vision or a tricky fabric, bring it in—we love a challenge.

I’m Nidhi, and honestly, seeing a mother and daughter walk in and leave with outfits that make them smile is my favourite part of the day. We don't just stitch clothes; we create memories. My studio in Nagarbhavi is a place where we sit, sketch, and figure out how to turn your old sarees into something stunning that you both will actually want to wear for years.
