About this collection
I always tell my clients, the blouse is not just fabric, it is about how it sits on your body. We don't just stitch, we look at the silk or crepe you have brought, the border, and the neckline to decide what works. Whether you want heavy zardozi for your wedding muhurtham or something light and elegant for a family puja, we ensure the embroidery respects the fabric, never overpowering it.
At our studio in Nagarbhavi, Bangalore, the design process is truly collaborative. We move away from the 'catalog' style and create something that is made specifically for you. When you bring your saree, we don't just grab a random pattern. We sit, sketch, and decide on the handwork techniques that will make the blouse pop.
Why Hand Embroidery Matters
We avoid machines entirely for our embroidery. Techniques like Zardozi, Aari, and detailed thread work require a human touch to ensure the thread tension is perfect, especially on delicate fabrics like crepe or raw silk. This keeps your blouse looking clean, elegant, and durable.
Working with Your Saree
One of the most special services we offer is reusing the original border of your saree. Instead of just setting it aside, we often integrate it into the sleeve or neckline. It adds value, sentimental attachment, and makes the piece one-of-a-kind. If your saree is heavy, we can balance it with simpler embroidery on the blouse; if it is a plain silk, we can go bold with temple architecture motifs or traditional peacock designs.
Our Process
- Consultation: You show us the saree or the inspiration, and we talk about fit.
- Design: We sketch the neckline and sleeve pattern.
- Crafting: We begin the handwork, sharing updates so you are never surprised.
- Fitting: We ensure the blouse provides comfort for long events.
Whether it is a classic puff sleeve or a modern back cutout, the goal is to make sure you feel grand when you wear it.
