About this collection
When we upcycle your saree, the secret is in the structure. We don't just stitch fabric; we add high-quality, heavy-duty Can-Can and double-layer lining to ensure that signature flared lehenga shape. Even if your saree is a delicate silk, we manage the pleats to give you that perfect, voluminous silhouette without compromising the fabric's integrity.
Many clients bring us their mother's wedding Kanjivaram or a silk they have held onto for years. They worry about cutting such precious material. I understand this completely. My approach is slow fashion with soul—we treat every fold and border with respect.
The process starts with a consultation at our Nagarbhavi studio. We do not just cut; we plan. We look at the saree's border placements, the pattern of the zari, and how to align it so the final lehenga looks intentional and grand.
For the Langa Voni (half-saree) style, the blouse is where we really show our craft. We add custom Maggam work—zardozi, Aari, or stone embellishments—that complements the saree's colour. If you want your initials or a wedding hashtag in Kannada script, we do that too.
We also include a contrast Voni (dupatta) dyed to match, ensuring the entire set feels cohesive. Whether you are prepping for a muhurtham, a reception, or just want to celebrate in style, we turn your vintage silk into a contemporary masterpiece.
