About From Saree to Stunning Lehenga
When we transform your saree into a lehenga, we focus on preserving the original zari border at the hem and utilizing the pallu for a unique blouse design. We include premium butter crepe lining and structured cancan netting to ensure your new outfit has the perfect flow and volume.
We begin every project with a consultation to understand your vision. Whether it is an old wedding saree or a Kanjeevaram you have not worn in years, we plan the construction around the fabric's strength and history. For lehengas, we use box pleats or kali cuts to maximize the flare, while the blouse is made to measure with padding and back hooks for a precise fit.
Beyond lehengas, we can reconstruct your fabric into floor-length Anarkalis or draped gowns, engineering the cut to highlight the best prints of the original saree. If the fabric is limited, we carefully source matching silk for the yoke to maintain the design's integrity. For the little ones, we offer Pattu Pavadai sets, adding 2 to 3 inches of extra margin inside the stitching to accommodate growth. Every piece is handcrafted in our Bengaluru studio, turning your memories into a wearable outfit.
