Whether it is matching mother-daughter sets or a theme for the whole family, I love designing outfits that bring everyone together in style. Let’s make your celebration truly special, one thread at a time.

An adorable mother-daughter duo slaying in matching custom-made Paithani lehengas. It was such a joy to create these coordinated outfits for them.

A full view of the mother's beautiful Maharani Paithani lehenga, complete with a matching potli bag.

Another beautiful mother-daughter pair, twinning in pink and purple langa vonis. The little one looks so cute in her mini version.

A mother and her baby girl looking absolutely precious in matching maroon satin ball gowns.

This family wanted to coordinate in black for an event. We designed a pleated saree-gown for the mom, a matching embroidered bandhgala for the dad, and a smart little suit for their son.

A picture-perfect family. We designed a pink Kanjivaram saree and blouse for the mother, and a matching brocade jacket for her husband and son.

About this collection

When I design for families, I don't just match colours. We focus on fabric flow and how each person moves. For a mother-daughter set, we make sure the little one's fabric is soft and breathable, while the mom's outfit balances elegance with comfort for the whole event. It is all about making sure everyone feels confident and happy in their own skin.

Creating coordinated family outfits is one of my favourite parts of running Anthariya. It is not just about having everyone wear the same colour; it is about finding a harmony that respects each person's style while keeping the event theme intact. Whether it is a mother-daughter duo for a wedding, or a full family set for a festive occasion, I believe in slow fashion that feels personal.

Our Process

When you come to my studio in Nagarbhavi, we start by chatting. You tell me about the event, the vibe, and the colours you love. I want to know who is the most comfortable in what. For kids, we focus on scratch-free fabrics and easy movement. For adults, we look at the occasion—is it a heavy wedding or a casual reception? We sketch, we pick fabrics, and we iterate until it feels right.

Why Coordinated Outfits Work

  • Harmony, Not Clones: You don't need identical clothes to look matched. We use complementary palettes and matching embroidery motifs to create a cohesive look.
  • Fabric Choice: We select fabrics based on the silhouette. A silk lehenga for a mother needs a different weight than a comfortable ethnic set for a toddler.
  • Personalization: We can add your family name, initials, or meaningful motifs to the outfits. It makes the final result something you will keep as a memory for years.

Common Questions

  • How much time do you need? For family sets, I recommend reaching out at least 20-30 days before the event. This gives us time for sourcing, stitching, and at least one trial to ensure the perfect fit for everyone.
  • Can you work with provided fabrics? Yes, we often use family heirloom sarees to create new, modern outfits for different family members, upcycling them into something everyone can wear.

My goal is for you to look back at your photos and see not just great clothes, but a happy family celebrating together.
