When we design for reception nights, the biggest challenge is comfort. You need to dance and mingle, so we focus on the structure, like using high-quality Can-Can for that perfect flare without the weight, or adjusting bodice silhouettes so you are not constantly pulling at your gown. We test these during our mandatory fit-on trials to make sure you feel confident from the first dance to the final photo.
Reception and cocktail parties allow for much more creative freedom than traditional wedding ceremonies. At our Nagarbhavi studio, we love helping you move away from the expected and into something that truly represents your personality. Whether it is an Indo-Western fusion gown with a dramatic slit or a heavily sequined lehenga, the goal is always the same: you should look grand and feel completely at ease.
We pay close attention to the silhouette. For those who love a mermaid or fish-cut look, we construct the bodice with internal corsetry to ensure a flawless shape. If you prefer a ballgown, we incorporate multiple layers of Can-Can to get that perfect volume without making it cumbersome. We also love adding those small, personal touches that make an outfit yours, like embroidering your wedding hashtag or initials in intricate beadwork on the back or dupatta.
