Coordinated Couple and Family Outfits
There is something truly magical when a family dresses in perfect harmony. From perfectly matched couple ensembles to adorable mother-daughter outfits, I love creating looks that bring everyone together in style.
A beautiful moment between this engaged couple. Her pastel pink saree with a 3D floral blouse is perfectly complemented by his elegant pink sherwani.
A romantic walk in the park. This couple looks stunning in their coordinated pastel outfits, perfect for their pre-wedding photoshoot.

About this collection
Coordinating for a family is about balancing fabrics and textures so you look cohesive, not just identical. When I design these sets, I often source custom-dyed organza or silk tones that photograph beautifully together. If you have a specific family color theme in mind, bring those swatches or photos to our first consultation so we can start matching the embroidery details and borders early.
Designing for couples and families is where I really get to have fun with creativity. Whether you are looking for a subtle match where the groom’s pocket square complements the bride’s blouse embroidery, or a full-family theme for a Seemantham, the goal is to make everyone look like a million bucks without feeling forced.
My Approach to Family Sets
- The Balancing Act: For couples, I often use a contrast technique. If the bride is in a heavy Kanchivaram silk, I might design a silk kurta for the groom with matching border fabric or embroidery detailing to tie the looks together.
- Custom Embroidery: I love adding personal touches. If we are doing matching outfits for a parent and child, I ensure the embroidery is kid-friendly—soft linings and no scratchy edges—while maintaining the same level of hand-worked detail you see on the adult outfits.
- Fabric Selection: I work with everything from pure Kanchivaram and velvet to airy organza. For large family events or weddings, we start with a consultation where we finalize the base fabrics first to ensure the color palette stays consistent across all outfits.
Why Custom Matters
Off-the-rack outfits rarely fit a whole family perfectly. By choosing custom, you get outfits tailored to your body type, with 3D floral motifs, specific neckline styles, and back cuts that you actually want to wear. Plus, for kids' outfits, I always add 3-4 inch inner margins so you can adjust the fit as they grow.
I am based in Indiranagar, Bangalore, but I regularly work with families across India. If you are planning a special event, let’s chat about how we can make your entire group look like a vision of elegance.
