About Hands-On Art Workshops
My workshops are not just about watching me paint; we pick up brushes together. We focus on professional-grade materials like 300 GSM Arches paper and high-quality mineral watercolours, because learning how paint behaves on a specific surface is half the battle. Whether we are sketching landscapes or portraits, I guide you step-by-step so you walk away with a painting you actually created, rather than just a theory lesson.

I believe art is best learned by doing. In my hands-on workshops, I break down the intimidation factor of starting a blank page. We cover the entire journey—from planning your composition to controlling the water-to-pigment ratio. My goal is to pass on the basics my father taught me, adjusted for your personal style.

- Watercolour Foundations: Understanding paper weight, brush pressure, and how to layer Supervision mineral watercolours.
- Acrylic Landscapes: Mixing techniques using Camel HD Acrylics and creating texture.
- Live Portrait Demos: I paint a subject in real-time while explaining my thought process, which helps you see how to capture likeness and personality on paper.

Do I need to bring my own supplies? For private group workshops, I provide everything—from A3 paper and shared palettes to brushes and tools. Just bring yourself and your curiosity.
Are these classes for beginners? Absolutely. I design my sessions so that absolute beginners can complete a landscape or still-life painting within the 4-hour window, while art students can pick up technical nuances to improve their own practice.
Do you only work in Pune? While I am based in Pune, I travel across India for art colleges, festivals, and private camps. If you have a group or an event, reach out and we can plan it.
