About Live Art & Educational Workshops
Why I Share Art
Art for me is all about learning and passing on what I've picked up over the years. My dad taught me the basics and watching him paint as a kid is still my strongest memory. Every time I teach or demo, I want people to feel that same energy - the real buzz you get when the colours start flowing.
What Drives Me
Teaching is my way of saying thanks to my gurus and family who showed me the ropes. I feel it's my responsibility to keep that chain going. When I look at old Indian art, I always wonder what must've gone on in the artist's mind. That's the kind of curiosity I want to light up in you.
Live Art: See It Happen
If you’re into seeing the process, I do watercolour live demonstrations at colleges, galleries, art festivals, and even on TV sometimes. You’ll catch me painting everything from live portraits to plein air landscapes, and sometimes even big Marathi calligraphy pieces.
Workshops: Paint With Me
These are hands-on. I’ll guide you through techniques while we actually paint together. Doesn’t matter if you’re a serious art student or just here for fun. I run single-day sessions focused on stuff like acrylic landscapes and multi-day camps where we cover more ground and even go outside to paint.
More Than Just Painting
I also get called for art talks at colleges. Here, I dig into my vichar (thought process) - from finding inspiration to planning an illustration. It’s about understanding why we paint, not just how.
What I Use
Mostly, I stick with Supervision Watercolours, Camel HD Acrylics and Arches paper. Good materials make a big difference and I want you to feel that too.
Where I Go
I’m based in Pune but I travel all over India for workshops and demos. So, wherever you are, I might just turn up at your art college or festival.
Manahpurvak aabhar (heartfelt thanks) for showing interest.

My Story
Art's been in my veins since bachpan (childhood), thanks to my father, my mool prerna (main inspiration). Sculptures at Ellora, those ancient carvings, they just charge me up. I try to catch that old soul in my Stone Series watercolour work. Family's my everything - my sons, my natkhat Kanha (cheeky Krishna), even sneak into my paintings. And my Aai (mom), well, she knows me nine months more than anyone else. Painting my guru’s portrait? That was a proud moment, yaar.
