About Fine Art & Commissioned Paintings
What Drives My Art
Art's in my blood. My father taught me the basics, but honestly, the real spark comes from walking through places like Ellora. Every time I see those ancient carvings, I get this feeling - kasa vichar kela asel, hi planning kashi keli asel (how did they think, how did they plan this). I try to catch that same energy in my own work. My sons are another big inspiration - they bring new ideas, mischief, and sometimes the whole vibe for a painting.
What I Paint
I create fine art pieces you can actually connect with. You bring your story, I bring my canvas.
- Custom family portrait painting - from photos or live, and yes, I’ve painted everything from maternity moments to commemorative pieces.
- Landscapes done en plein air - I chase the mood of places like Sinhagad or Varanasi, painting outdoors and bringing that raw atmosphere into each piece.
- Cultural and spiritual Indian art commission - Maratha heroes, deities, and my unique stone sculpture series in watercolour. These are close to my heart and rooted in our heritage.
How I Work
I switch between mediums to suit your idea:
- Watercolour is my jam, especially for the stone series and expressive details.
- Oil for rich, textured portraits or big landscapes.
- Acrylic when I want punchy colours and flexibility.
I’m always open to new concepts - let’s create something that feels like you. Manahpurvak aabhar (heartfelt thanks) for letting me be a part of your story.

My Story
Art's been in my veins since bachpan (childhood), thanks to my father, my mool prerna (main inspiration). Sculptures at Ellora, those ancient carvings, they just charge me up. I try to catch that old soul in my Stone Series watercolour work. Family's my everything - my sons, my natkhat Kanha (cheeky Krishna), even sneak into my paintings. And my Aai (mom), well, she knows me nine months more than anyone else. Painting my guru’s portrait? That was a proud moment, yaar.
