About Our Story, Team & Partners
When our 'Flavours of Ramadan' festival is in full swing, our banquet hall in Mazgaon turns into a non-stop, buzzing kitchen. From our cooks tending to the charcoal grills to our staff managing the seating, we work as one because we know you’re here for more than just a meal; you’re here for the connection. It takes every single one of us to make sure the rotis stay soft and the Nalli Nihari stays piping hot, even when the dinner rush is at its peak.
Our Story
Alamdar Caterers started with a simple dream of our founder, Mr. Akil Darugar. He believed that food is the thread that brings community together. While he is no longer with us, his values—serving with heart, zero shortcuts, and genuine hospitality—are the foundation of everything we do. Whether we are catering a traditional Bohra Thaal at a wedding or hosting hundreds at our annual festival, we aim to recreate that sense of family.

When you see a full house at our venue, it is all hands on deck. We also believe in the strength of community, which is why we collaborate with local favorites like Kunafa Bytes, Hajoori’s Frootreet, and Misk Khushbu to bring more variety to your plate. Our partners are an extension of our team, sharing our commitment to quality and tradition.
Why We Do It
We handle everything from Sangeet buffets to corporate lunches, but we are most known for our live stations and communal dining rituals. Seeing the smiles on our guests' faces is what keeps us going. We treat your event with the same care as our own, ensuring the logistics are smooth so you can simply enjoy the moment with your guests. I’m Moazzam Darugar, and here, we treat every order like a feast at our own home. My team and I run Alamdar with one simple rule: serve with heart, no shortcuts. We don't have a corporate office because the magic happens right here in our Mazgaon kitchen.
