About Art Beyond the Canvas: Fun Crafts
These craft projects are all about self-expression. Whether it is painting horses on sneakers for a birthday gift or designing a custom tote bag for Mother's Day, I focus on the story behind the art. We use fabric-safe paints and guided techniques so every child leaves with a functional piece they are proud to wear or use.
Art is a powerful way to build confidence. When kids see their own designs come to life on a t-shirt or a pair of canvas shoes, it changes how they view creativity. It is not just about making something pretty, but about understanding that art can be functional, personal, and tangible.
In my Bandra studio, we focus on hands-on craft sessions that encourage original thought rather than copying. We use fabric-appropriate acrylics and permanent mediums to ensure the designs last, while teaching kids the basics of composition and colour theory.
