Creative Kids' Art & Craft Adventures
Step into a space where imagination leads the way and getting messy is part of the plan. I create art journeys for children that build confidence and celebrate every unique brushstroke.
I learn so much from my students, especially the power of resilience. This picture with one of my young artists reminds me that it's okay to make mistakes and that the real magic is in trying again.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is a gift. This happy student, holding up her colorful beach drawing, reminds me to always stay curious and find joy in the simple things.
The pure joy on their faces is my greatest reward. This collage shows several students from an online class, each proudly holding their unique giraffe painting, all created with bright smiles.
Art is a language with many dialects. This young creator's amazing ISRO rocket drawing shows that there is more than one way to express a big idea, and I love seeing their individual creativity shine.
Teaching art is about shaping little souls. With every brushstroke, children learn patience and kindness, and I feel blessed to watch their character blossom through their creative journey.
A young artist completely focused on her abstract canvas painting. It's wonderful to see students get lost in the world of colors and shapes during our in-studio sessions.
Concentration and creativity in action. Here, a student carefully paints a portrait inspired by famous artists, learning about color blocking and composition in a fun, hands-on way.
About this collection
In my studio, we do not just draw; we explore. Whether it is a gold foil experiment, an intricate explosion box, or a Henri Matisse-inspired collage, I encourage kids to embrace the mess and find their own rhythm. I offer both online and in-person sessions at my Malviya Nagar studio, designed to let your child express themselves, make mistakes, and build genuine pride in their work.
Art is a language, and for children, it is often the most honest one they have. My approach is simple: process over product. When a child picks up a brush, the goal is not to paint a perfect replica of a sunset, but to learn how to mix colors, how to handle patience when things do not go as planned, and how to trust their own creative instincts.
What We Explore Together
My curriculum is built to be a playground for the mind. We move beyond basic sketching to explore:
- Technique Drills: From blow painting and bubble wrap textures to shaving foam marbling.
- Art Appreciation: We look at works by masters like Picasso and Matisse, then recreate them with a child's unique perspective.
- Seasonal & Practical Crafts: We make functional, beautiful items like explosion boxes for gifts, paper plate wreaths, and festive decor.
Flexible Formats
Whether you are across Delhi or right here in Malviya Nagar, we have a way to connect:
- In-Studio (Malviya Nagar): I keep batches small, with a maximum of 8 students, ensuring I can sit with each child to guide their progress.
- Online Live: We use video calls to keep the interaction alive, with homework reviews and virtual showcases to keep the momentum going.
Everything is beginner-friendly. If a child feels stuck, we use a bit of creative 'jugaad' to pivot, because the joy of art is only found when we do it from the heart.

Hi, I am Soojata. I believe art is about more than just making something pretty; it is about shaping souls and letting kids be exactly who they are. In my classes, we trade rigid rules for imagination, turning every session into a creative playground where your child learns to see the world with fresh eyes.
